Horticultural Labourer and Experienced Farm Hand

Position: hours per week or type of employment such as casual, full-time

Location: Mareeba, QLD

Description:
We require 2 Experienced Farm Hand in Mareeba, Queensland for sorghum seed production operations. Work will commence immediately and is an ongoing position. The physical requirements of this position may include lifting, bending and using machinery or other equipment.

Qualifications and key skills
• Fluency in both oral and written Japanese and English.
• Previous Farm Hand Experience.
• Candidates should be motivated, work well in a team with others, have good communication and can work fast and with accuracy and be able to learn quickly.
•Ability to work conscientiously, meet deadlines, follow instructions and directions with minimal supervision.
•Must be pro-active
•Must have ability to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
•Computer literate (Date Entry, Excel, Word, Power-Point, etc.)
•Must have own transport (Open Drivers Licence)
•Must have good skills at operating farm tractors (100hp) and implements
•Physically fit
•Horticulture Certificate – advantageous
